After being beaten by the Mclaren F1 in 1997, Porsche returned with a heavily revised version
of their 97 car, the 911 GT1. The new car was lighter, longer and more aerodynamic than the
97 car as a result, the Porsche achieved a 1,2 at Le Mans in 1998.
