2001 saw the return of Bentley to Le Mans, after an absence of over 70 years, one of the cars finished
3rd overall, winning its class. In 2002 Bentley returned with a modified version of the car and
finished 4th overall but, the best was yet to come.
In 2003, Bentley raced their EXP 2003, a completely new car, the only part retained from the previous
cars was the engine, the chassis and body shell were completely different, the result was a first and
second place overall and Bentley's first Le Mans victory in 73 years.
